Auburn University’s GeoExplorer Mobile Lab Heads West—Then Pops Up in Mobile for Grand Finale
Mobile, Ala. — Auburn University’s Department of Geosciences is hitting the road with GeoExplorer, a state-of-the-art mobile science lab designed to bring geoscience learning to life. The GeoExplorer is currently on an epic two-week road trip to the Esri Education Summit in San Diego, California, showcasing Auburn’s innovative approach to STEM education.
As the road trip wraps up, GeoExplorer will make a celebratory final stop on the Alabama Gulf Coast, hosting a pop-up open house at the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park in Mobile. The event, open to alumni, friends, and the public, will feature food trucks, a family-friendly atmosphere, and interactive tours of the GeoExplorer lab.
