FOLEY – Most non-emergency city offices will be closed Monday, May 26, for the Memorial Day holiday.
City Hall and other municipal offices will also be closed. Offices and other facilities will reopen for regular hours on Tuesday, May 27.
Recyclable materials will not be collected Monday. Collections will resume Tuesday, May 27. Trash service schedules will not be affected by the holiday.
The collection of limbs, yard debris and bulk items will resume Thursday. Residents are asked to be patient as some schedules may run behind until crews catch up with pickups. Collections begin at 6 a.m.
The Foley Public Library will be closed Monday, May 26. The library will reopen with its regular hours Tuesday, May 27.
The Interpretive Center at the Graham Creek Nature Preserve will be closed Saturday, May 24, and Monday, May 26. Trails at the preserve will be open during each day.
The Foley Welcome Center, Holmes Medical Museum and Foley Railroad Museum will be closed.
The American Legion Chapter 99 will hold a Memorial Day commemoration Monday morning at the Veterans Memorial at Max Griffin Park on South Alston Street.
