Gulf Shores, AL – May 9, 2025 — On May 8, 2025, Eco Clean Marine showed that you don’t need a crowd to make a difference. With just one determined person — Team Lead Kerensa — the nonprofit took on Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores and made every minute count.
Armed with gloves, a bucket, and an unstoppable spirit, Kerensa picked up 0.5 of a 5-gallon bucket of trash in just two hours. It might sound small, but every bit of waste removed helps protect local wildlife and keep our shores beautiful.
“There may have been only one of me, but I brought the energy of ten,” Kerensa joked. “Sometimes, it's not about the turnout — it's about showing up.”
Eco Clean Marine celebrates every effort — big or small — in the fight against marine pollution. And this solo cleanup is a perfect reminder that one person really can make a difference.
