Lee Charities Launches 2026 Grant Cycle with Two $25,000 Awards for Baldwin County Nonprofits

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (2026) — Lee Charities is kicking off 2026 with a major opportunity for local nonprofit organizations, announcing an open grant cycle that will award two (2) qualifying 501(c)(3) nonprofits with $25,000 each in general/operations funding.

The funding is intended to provide direct support for nonprofit organizations serving the community—helping strengthen day-to-day operations, expand services, and create lasting impact across Baldwin County.

“This grant cycle is a simple, meaningful way to begin the year strong for local nonprofits,” said Mitchell Lee of Lee Charities. “We’re excited to support two organizations with a significant financial boost and help them continue the important work they’re already doing in our community.”

How to Apply

The application process is designed to be quick and easy and includes two steps:

Step 1: Complete the nonprofit survey:

Step 2: Email Mitchell Lee with one paragraph describing how a $25,000 boost would impact your organization.

Eligible applicants must be Baldwin County-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.

Additional 2026 Support for Charity Events

In addition to the grant cycle, Lee Charities is also increasing its support of local causes through event sponsorships throughout 2026. Nonprofits planning fundraising events or charitable activities this year are encouraged to submit a sponsorship request.
