The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce gathered with local business leaders and community members to cut a ribbon for SHOW Baldwin, Inc.!

SHOW Baldwin—short for Special Humans Outreach & Wellness—is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with special needs in Baldwin County. Through meaningful grants and inclusive social events, SHOW Baldwin is committed to addressing the unique needs of people with special abilities.

The organization was founded by four mothers of children with special needs, initially coming together to raise funds for a wheelchair for a friend’s daughter. What began as a single act of kindness has grown into a mission-driven nonprofit focused on providing medical grants and hosting accessible, inclusive events throughout Baldwin County.

In addition to directly supporting individuals with special needs, SHOW Baldwin recently launched a Business Donation Grant Program, allowing local businesses to apply for grants that help improve accessibility and promote workplace inclusion.

SHOW Baldwin thrives thanks to the generosity of individuals and community supporters. The organization relies on public donations to continue its vital work—funding essential equipment, services, and thoughtfully crafted experiences that foster inclusion, joy, and personal growth. With every contribution, donors help build a community where individuals with special needs are not only supported, but also celebrated for who they are.
