SouthernCare Hospice- Foley Named as Prestigious 2025 Hospice CAHPS Honors Recipient

Foley, AL August 25, 2025 — SouthernCare Hospice Services-Foley has been honored with the 2025 MatrixCare Hospice CAHPS Honors award – a prestigious distinction that celebrates an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional, compassionate end-of-life care. This prestigious award recognizes agencies that continuously go above and beyond in providing high-quality care for patients and compassionate caregiver experiences. It acknowledges the highest performing agencies by analyzing the performance of the Hospice Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey satisfaction and quality measures.
 
To be considered for this award, the hospice agency must have scored above the MatrixCare National Performance Score on 100% of the evaluated questions. These scores are then compared on a question-by-question basis to a national performance score calculated from all partnering hospices contained in the MatrixCare Hospice CAHPS database.
