If you have a passion for serving others, becoming a hospice volunteer can be a fulfilling and meaningful way to make a difference in the lives of others. Hospice volunteers are the heart of hospice and help patients and families make the most of every moment. Our volunteers serve in various capacities, including visiting with patients and families, assisting with office tasks, and working on special projects.

- Patient visits for companionship and support
- Spending time with patients while their family runs errands
- Assisting with household chores or errands
- Providing veteran-to-veteran support
- Making tuck-in phone calls to patients or their family to make sure they have supplies, medications, and support that they may need
- Assisting with administrative or clerical tasks in the office, such as answering telephones, assisting with mailings, putting together packets or training manuals, and more
- Teens between the ages of 16 and 17 may also volunteer in the office with administrative tasks.

Please note all volunteers must agree to a background check, drug screen, TB test, and complete an orientation program.
